Blending the minimalism of Danish design with a colorful sensibility derived from an Ivory Coast heritage, Yvonne Koné creates luxury Italian-made leather goods that are timeless, understated, and effortlessly chic.
Working closely with founder Yvonne Koné, creative director Jacob Wildschiodtz, and senior Art Director Julie Lysbo, we designed a pared-down brand identity accented with ever-changing colors and textures from each season's collection.
(LOGO) A bold and confident logomark. The letterforms have a hint of reverse contrast, adding warmth and roughness to the clean and refined design system.
(COLLATERALS) When used in collaterals and packaging, the logo is blind-embossed on soft white uncoated paper and accented with vibrant and playful color-blocking.
(MARK) The secondary mark, an abstraction of Y and K, is primarily designed for signage and can be stamped onto products to add subtle brand moments.
(PHOTOGRAPHY) Campaign photography embodies Yvonne Koné's sophisticated yet humble, and down to earth spirit. Each campaign is shot in different geographic regions where the collection's inspiration comes from. The brand commits to casting models of African descent to represent their Ivory Coast heritage.
(WEBSITE) The e-commerce website is built on Shopify. The homepage is designed to be a scrollable mood board, full of imagery and changing background colors reflecting each season.
