For our new CinemaFlash series, we wanted attempt in taking underwater photography! We bought scuba lights, and an underwater camera case for a SLR camera. My dear friend Jae was our model.

It’s not as bright as I wanted it to be, but hopefully this will do the job.

I finished my first print for our new cinema flash’09 series! I may add alittle more things, but that all depends on how much time I have left.. Thanks to Randy who will be rendering out 5 out of the 10 prints of our two series, I’ve only got 4 more prints to go!!

sample_line1Now that the Sociable Table Project is close to finishing, I got more time to work on my cinemaflash projects.

This is one of the first prints we’re making for our new upcoming series, “Human Interaction with Nature”. Randy and I are planning on printing these on vinyl, and framing them for our school exhibition at the end of the month.

Last quarter I took an Intro to Photo Class with Linzi. This was one of our projects, where we were supposed to get inspired by an existing photographer, and incorporate their style. Thus, this project of mine is called “Inspi’Lorreta Lux” to credit my ultimate favorite photographer Loretta Lux for her inspirational photography. She takes surreal photographs of children and makes them looks like porcelain dolls. I had the greatest models; Linzi, Caitlyn, and Laura (from top to bottom) whom all had perfect doll like faces. I used photoshop to style the photos like Lorretta Lux, where I took off some blemishes, and fixed proportions of their face & body. I love taking photographs with pale pastel colors with a hint of one strong color, so I also incorporated that into the model’s clothes, and their makeup.
