Influenced by his childhood in Pittsburgh and his appreciation for a nostalgic American lifestyle, I created a brand identity system that captures Philip's memories and joy for exploration. Overall colors and tone are inspired by #2 yellow pencils, overhead projectors and his collections of vintage travel photos of nature.
Keeping the classic undertone, the logo was given a playful touch through interlocking letters and shapes. A simple, timeless emblem was designed based on the initials as an alternative brand mark.
The branding was applied across other collaterals such as business cards, letterheads and envelopes.
The resulting identity system expressed Philip's personality so well that he equated it to "finding the perfect stick in the wild".
